Shaina Magdayao was born on November 6, 1989 in Quezon City, Philippines. She is a Filipina actress, dancer, singer and model. Shaina is currently under ABS-CBN Management and a member of Star Magic.
Shaina Magdayao began her acting career when she was cast, at the age of seven, in the Philippine drama series Lyra, playing the lead character. She was included in the cast of the Ang TV show, Kaybol then starred in ABS-CBN's afternoon drama series Marinella, playing the role of Rina.
Shaina began modeling for children's products including children's clothing company, Garfield as well as appearing in television commercials for Magnolia Chocolait, Lemon Squares Products and Goldilocks. She was also one of the youngest models ever for Ben Chan's clothing company Bench. She now models for the women's line of the same clothing company.
